Slow and steady wins the race
Once upon a time, there lived a hare in a jungle. He was always proud of his speed. A tortoise also lived there. The hare always annoyed the tortoise for its slow speed. One day the hare was walking through the jungle. Suddenly he saw the tortoise. It was going very slowly. The rabbit laughed and said, “Hurry up, you are very slow! Can’t you walk a little faster like me? The tortoise said angrily, “Why don’t we have a competition to see who wins?” The rabbit laughed and said, “Why not? let’s do it.”
The next morning, turtles and hare came to start the race. They fixed a destination and started their race. The hare was running very faster than the tortoise. He looked back, but there was no sign of the tortoise. The hare was sure of his victory. So, he sat down under a tree to rest, but unfortunately, he fell asleep. On the other hand, the tortoise ran slowly but steadily. In a very short time, it passed the sleeping hare. When the rabbit woke up, he looked around and was surprised to see that the tortoise was near the finish line. He ran too fast to catch the tortoise, but it was too late. The tortoise reached the finish line, looked back at the rabbit, and said with a smile, “See how the slow but steady wins the race!”
