A thirsty Crow

Once upon a time, a crow was very thirsty. It flew from place to place in search of water but unfortunately it did not find any water. All on a sudden, it saw a pitcher. It peeped into the pitcher and saw that there was a little water at the bottom of the pitcher. It tried to drink some water but its bill could not reach the water.

It tried again and again but in vain. It became very sad and hopeless. Suddenly, it saw some pebbles near the pitcher. A good idea came into its mind. The crow picked up the pebbles and dropped them into the pitcher one by one. As a result, the water came up to the brim. The crow then drank water from it to its heart's content and flew away with a joyful mind. Thus, its cleverness helped it satisfy its thirst.

Water pollution happens when harmful substances like chemicals, plastic, and waste materials get into rivers, lakes, oceans, or even groundwater. Polluted water can harm fish and other marine life, and when people eat these fish, they might get sick too. Water pollution also reduces the amount of clean water available for human use, which can lead to shortages. Moreover, polluted water can cause serious diseases like cholera and diarrhea. To stop water pollution, we should throw waste in the right places, avoid using harmful chemicals, and protect our water sources. Clean water is necessary for life, and it is our responsibility to take care of it for a healthy future.
