Our National Flag
A national flag is a symbol of a country. Every country in the world has its own national flag. It varies from country to country. By looking at the national flag of a country, one can get an idea about the history and traditions of that country. We Bangladeshis also have a national flag. Our national flag is also earned with much blood and sacrifice. The length and width ratio of the flag is 10:6. The color of our national flag is dark green with a red circle in the middle. The green background of our national flag signifies our breathtaking natural beauty. And the red color of the sun is a sign of fresh blood on the chest of the martyrs.
The national flag is hoisted on any important national day, including Independence Day, and Victory Day, as ordered by the government. The national flag is hoisted on government buildings and educational institutions every working day. We every Bangladeshi love our national flag very much. Our national flag inspires us to always sacrifice our lives for the greater good of the state. It is constantly reminiscent of independent states. We are proud of it.
